Service Contract & Policies

A service contract will be sent to you by email or text to review and sign after a booking request is initiated and the new client intake form has been submitted. Typically, a contract is only sent for your first booking, but you can access policy FAQs below.

Scheduling - Is a meet and greet required? A meet and greet is strongly encouraged, but not required. A booking is not confirmed until an invoice is sent and reviewed by the owner and, if a new client, a new client intake form is completed and a contract is signed.

Cancellation - Is my payment refundable? Life happens! I offer 100% refunds for sits cancelled at least 24 hours before the first scheduled drop in. See below for details: 100% Refundable - Up to 24 hours before first scheduled drop-in 50% Refundable - Cancellations within 24 hours of first scheduled drop-in, Client Cancellations mid-booking, or Sitter cancellations due to aggressive animals or unsafe conditions for the pets or the sitter.

Hours - What time can you visit? Drop-in windows can be scheduled as AM or PM and will fall between 8am-8pm. If your cat requires specific feeding times or feeding times before 8am or after 8pm due to medical reasons, please reach out to discuss options. I do not provide overnight house sitting at this time.

Keys - What's the best way to give access to the home? Options that don't require sitters to keep keys are strongly preferred. Lockboxes, keyless entry door code systems, smart locks, garage access codes, etc are all great options. If a client requires the sitter to keep a key for the duration of the booking, sitters are not responsible for any costs associated with lost or damaged keys. After a booking is complete, keys will not be left under porch rugs or in any unsecured areas. Key drop-off can be scheduled during regular service hours after the final visit.

Cameras - What is your in-home camera policy? I don't mind the use of cameras to monitor your pets while you're away. Cameras should be disclosed at the meet and greet and used only by pet owners to monitor pets and the home. No cameras may be placed in bathrooms.

Medications - Do you administer medications? Medications given as a supplement to food or are administered topically and are well-tolerated by the cat are welcome with no additional charge. More complex medication administration including injections, subcutaneous fluids, wound care, pills, or eye drops that are not well-tolerated by the cat or require specialized training are usually not possible. Please share all medication requirements and instructions with me so that we can discuss whether I am able to meet your cat's medical needs.
